These are experimental statistics on deaths of people experiencing homelessness in Scotland. They are in the testing stage and are not yet fully developed. They have not yet been assessed against the rigorous quality standards which apply to National Statistics. They will remain experimental for a period of evaluation of their suitability and quality and feedback is invited from users and stakeholders.

Figures are estimates (rather than identified deaths). Figures are for deaths registered, rather than deaths occurring in each calendar year. Figures for Scotland may include deaths of non-residents. Figures may not sum to the total number of estimated deaths in Scotland due to rounding.
